Software Management, LLC (SMLLC) is among the oldest software firms in Kentucky. For the past twenty years, SMLLC has focused on providing fully integrated PC-based system solutions for county clerks throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

City of Louisville

With its origins through the Kentucky Department for Libraries and Archives (KDLA), who selected SMLLC to provide an automated local government records indexing system specifically designed to serve the county clerks, the system known as CCLIX©, (pronounced "clicks"), county clerk indexing, is currently being utilized in three fourths of Kentucky's county clerk offices.

From that beginning, SMLLC expanded its software offerings to handle the collection of delinquent tax revenues. Then, after extensive independent research and development, CCLIX-OptIMA©, a document imaging and retrieval system, was installed in the Oldham County Clerk's office in January 1995. Today, CCLIX-OptIMA© is being utilized in twenty-five locations throughout Kentucky, providing immediate access to millions of document images.

Having entered this millennium as the "gold standard" of working hand-in-hand with Kentucky County Clerks, SMLLC is uniquely positioned to provide the most innovative products and services, while also maintaining affordability, for both large and small offices. Providing true "one-stop shopping", SMLLC also furnishes system consultation, design and implementation services, as well as, custom software, computer equipment, installation, maintenance, and training services throughout the state.
